Humayun Bashir Tarar

Humayun Bashir Tarar has over 23 years of experience as a leader in the Police Service of Pakistan; having remained a regional Police Officer of a very challenging region and Police Chief of four major cities of Pakistan. He is currently heading the Integrated Border Management System in FIA and has served as Director Cyber Crime Wing in FIA, spearheading the national effort against online crimes, specially against women and children, including child sexual abuse. He was also part of the team responsible for digitisation of work processes in Punjab Police. Humayun holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Chevening scholar. He was also a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, USA, and a fellow at National Defense University (NDU), Washington D.C. Tarar also served with the Syracuse Police Department in New York.
