Daniel Sobel

Founder, International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners

Daniel Sobel is the Founder of IFIP (International Forums for Inclusive Practice) and President of the World Inclusion Congress, leading global initiatives to advance inclusive education practices.

Mr Sobel is a globally recognised authority on inclusive education and a prolific author, with over 100 published articles and three best-selling books: Narrowing the Attainment Gap, Leading on Pastoral Care, and The Inclusive Classroom. He is a seasoned keynote speaker, known for his thought-provoking and engaging presentations on education and inclusion leadership. Through IFIP, Mr Sobel has built a network spanning 138 countries, delivering programs such as the Global Inclusive Teaching Initiative (GITI) and the Inclusion Think Tank, and collaborating with organisations including UNESCO and the European Union. His leadership of the World Inclusion Congress has brought together education ministries, NGOs, and UN bodies, culminating in the Almaty Declaration and a forthcoming UN White Paper in 2026.
