Tariq Alexander Qaiser

Architect, Author & Environmental Filmmaker

Tariq Alexander Qaiser has been a practising architect for 37 years, specialising in the design of schools and hospitals. He served as visiting faculty at the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, for 8 years and has been invited to lecture both internationally and in Pakistan. Mr Qaiser is the author of two bilingual books and his environmental films, photographs, and paintings have been exhibited in 11 group and solo gallery shows. Time Magazine, in its July 2022 Oceans Issue, featured an eight-page spread on his efforts to save the mangroves on Karachi’s islands.

Mr Qaiser presented at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, where he spoke and screened his film , 'A Story of Survival'. He is currently producing films, working on a set of books about the Indus Delta, and running his architectural practice.
