Hajra Khan

Captain, Pakistan National Women`s Football Team

Hajra Khan is the captain of Pakistan’s national women’s football team. Growing up, she was a multi-sport athlete and represented Pakistan internationally in other sports as well. Starting her football journey at the age of 14, it took her only two years to move up the ranks from provincial to club to the national team in 2010. Currently, playing for Balochistan United Women’s Football Club (BUWFC) and SHR Maldives, Hajra is a four-time top scorer at the National Football Championships with a record of 30 goals in six matches and two-time Player of the Tournament. She is the first female footballer to have been signed by an international club and the only one in South Asia to have a club career record of 103 goals in 45 matches. She is also the only football player from the country to have been invited by and trained with three German clubs.
