Usman Nazir

Assistant Professor, Beaconhouse National University

Usman Nazir is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer and Information Technology at the Beaconhouse National University. With extensive teaching experience, he has served as a guest lecturer at LUMS and a lab demonstrator at the University of Leeds. His research includes projects on crop classification using satellite imagery and developing algorithms for humanitarian challenges.

Mr Nazir has authored numerous publications and received notable grants, including the Commonwealth Split-Site PhD scholarship. He has a strong background in Computer Networks (MS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication. His technical skills encompass GIS, programming, and machine learning, making him a leading voice in the fields of data science and remote sensing.
