Programme Director, Depilex Smileagain Foundation
Ayesha Taslim is a programme development and communication expert, serving as the Programme Director at Depilex Smileagain Foundation, working for the welfare of acid burn victims, through medical treatment, psychosocial support and skill training for rehabilitation. In the past, she has held senior positions as a professional and has volunteered at leading NGOs supporting women’s rights. She also served as Director Media and Publications, Pakistan National Council of the Arts - Ministry of Culture, Government of Pakistan. Taslim completed her Master's in Fine Arts from University of the Punjab. She later earned a scholarship and went to the University of Chicago, USA for a certificate in Mass Communication. She has attended various workshops and training courses in project development, covering a wide range of social sector subjects including health, population, women development, youth, environment, gender, safe motherhood, HIV/AIDS, and sustainable development. Taslim has international exposure, having travelled extensively across Asia, America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and Africa.
