Poet, Literary Translator, and Filmmaker

Ammar Aziz is a poet, literary translator, and award-winning filmmaker from Lahore. His poetry is featured in Penguin's 'Greening the Earth' and 'The Red River Book of Erotic Poetry.' Having been translated into various languages, his work has reached global audiences. IHe is set to release his debut poetry collection, 'The Missing Prayer' in 2024. As a filmmaker, his documentaries, 'A Walnut Tree' and 'Discount Workers,' have earned prestigious awards and his films have been screened worldwide, covered by international media, and broadcast on Al-Jazeera. Currently, he's translating the work of celebrated Urdu poet, Jaun Elia, into English.
