Moneeza Usman Butt is a Partner in KPMG Pakistan and has the distinction of being the first female partner in the big four audit and advisory chartered accountant firms of Pakistan. She is responsible for the control, supervision and finalisation of audits of various large local and multinational organisations, operating in diversified sectors. She is also the Quality Performance Liaison Partner of KPMG Pakistan, and has been a speaker and panellist at various conferences, seminars, TV & radio shows, including the BBC Radio show Business Matters. Butt has collected numerous accolades over the years, including being named one of the 100 Miracle Women 2015 by Unilever, a Woman of Inspiration 2016 by Ladies Fund, CA Woman of the year 2018 by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Business Excellence Award 2020 by Biz Today International and 100 Influential Women on LinkedIn 2022 Award by Connected Women Pakistan. She is an elected member of the Southern Regional Committee of ICAP and serves her alma mater in various other initiatives through its Women Committee and Best Corporate Reports Committee. She also acts as a mentor for accounting professionals through the ICAP mentorship programme, and is part of the Indus Hospital Corporate Ambassador Programme, a sponsor of ILM Foundation, an NGO of KPMG associates to fund education for deserving students.
