Natasha Ejaz

Singer and Song Writer

Singer-songwriter Natasha Humera Ejaz has been infusing folk, jazz and electronica to tailor music that tell the tales of her life since 2010. Known widely for her unique singing tone and eclectic approach towards songwriting, she has indulged in both solo and collaborative projects over her career, most recently playing Mehru in the Pakistani animated blockbuster Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor and lending her voice for the soundtrack to Pakistan’s 2018 Oscar submission, Cake. Previous releases include Lux Style Award nominee for Best Album 2015 ‘Till the end of time’, a hoard of songs with Indian producer and long-time collaborator Rishabh Rajan titled It might get glitchy (their debut release earned them a VIMA for Best Pop Song in 2011). The latest feather in her cap is a live-electronica alter-ego Stupid Happiness Theory that awarded her the prestigious Bordermovement Residency 2018.
