Uzair Khan

Member of National Assembly, Pakistan

Mr Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan is a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from the PML-N. He is on the parliamentary standing committees for Overseas Pakistanis, Textiles and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He serves on the advisory board of the Planning Commission of Pakistan and the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS). Mr Khan is also an executive member of the Young Parliamentarians Forum in the National Assembly and Chief Coordinator of the Prime Minister's Youth Skills Development Programme. His areas of interest include climate change, environment, social entrepreneurship, peace and development. Mr Khan has been part of several official delegations representing Pakistan on various international fora. Most recently, he convened the 1st SAARC Young Parliamentarian’s Conference on Peace and Harmony for Development. Mr Khan completed his BA from Stanford University in International Relations followed by a Masters in Public Policy from the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in Paris, France.
