Shaza Fatima Khawaja is one of Pakistan’s leading voices for digital transformation, innovation, and inclusion. Now serving her third term as a Member of the National Assembly, she has held key national roles including Minister of State for IT and Telecom, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, and Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce and Textile. Her career reflects a strong focus on youth empowerment, women’s participation, and inclusive economic growth.

Before entering public office, she taught political science and international relations at LUMS, mentoring young scholars and emerging policymakers. As Federal Minister, she now leads the Digital Nation Pakistan vision, advancing a connected, innovative, and equitable economy through expanded connectivity, responsible AI, and nationwide digital skills development.

An alumna of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and the University of Warwick (UK), she brings academic expertise in political economy and international development to Pakistan’s technology and policy landscape.
