Dr Kamal Munir

Snr. Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Prof. of Strategy & Policy, University of Cambridge

Professor Kamal Munir serves as the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor (University Community and Engagement) and Professor of Strategy and Policy at the University of Cambridge, where he leads institutional efforts focused on engagement, inclusion, and strategic development.

He is widely recognised for his scholarship on strategy, innovation, and social inequality, with numerous publications in top-tier management and organisational journals. His research has been featured across global platforms including the Harvard Business Review, BBC, CNN, ABC, the World Economic Forum, Financial Times, the Guardian, Wall Street Journal, Wired, and BusinessWeek. He has received multiple teaching awards and has advised a range of public and private sector organisations. He also serves as a Fellow of Homerton College and the Academic Director of the Centre for Strategic Philanthropy.

He earned his PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he has since built a distinguished academic and leadership career.
