Ambreena Ahmed

Ambreena Ahmed is a distinguished education and social impact leader with over 23 years of experience across Pakistan’s public and private education sectors. As Director of the Teachers’ Resource Centre (TRC), she led the organisation’s strategic turnaround and pioneered sector-leading initiatives in early childhood education, climate change education, and teacher development.

Her work includes designing Pakistan’s first introductory curriculum on climate change education, leading youth leadership bootcamps in marginalised communities, and securing international qualifications for teachers. She was recognised among Ponds’ 100 Miracle Women (2015) for her contributions to education and social development. With a career rooted in both TRC and the Sindh Education Foundation, Ambreena has consistently advanced innovation, inclusivity, and operational excellence.

A strong advocate for equitable access, she has founded scholarship funds for disadvantaged educators and driven regional dialogues on climate, citizenship, and education reform.
