Gulalai Khan

Faculty Internet Governance, LUMS

Gulalai Khan is a development, digital governance, and gender digital inclusion expert, and teaches Internet Governance and Technology Policy at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. She is also the founder of the Pakistan Professional Women Forum and works as an independent consultant and advisor on gender, inclusion, and digital ecosystem reforms, particularly in governance and economic development.

Ms Khan has won the 2023 GSMA Women Digital Leadership Award in Seoul for her efforts in promoting inclusive internet governance in Pakistan and training over 1,000 women in disadvantaged areas on digital skills and security. She has co-authored the National Youth Employment Policy 2024, led the development of Pakistan’s first women entrepreneurship policy, and delivered training on internet governance, communications, leadership, and inclusion across the development and private sectors.

She holds a degree in Communication Governance from the London School of Economics, with research focused on gender and the third-level digital divide in Pakistan.
