Aleena Nadeem

Aleena Nadeem is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of EduFi Private Limited, Pakistan’s first student-led fintech company that provides student financing solutions for higher education. EduFi has raised over $6.1 million, the largest pre-seed round ever raised by a Pakistani start-up.

She started her career at the Credit Division of Goldman Sachs London, after which she worked as the Fintech Lead at Ventura Capital London, a late-stage private equity fund. She left as the youngest and first female principal partner at Ventura. She raised over $50 million as part of the G Raise series for PayTM in India, $20 million as part of Railsbank’s Series A+ round, and over $60 million as part of Upgrade’s Series D round. She is also a director at her family’s office, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and serves as an active member of the Progressive Education Network (PEN), a nonprofit charity run by her family office that educates over 700,000 children for free every year.

Ms Nadeem completed her High School from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she also attained the regional distinction in Economics. She completed her Bachelor's at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she worked with Professor John Cox, examining the foundations of option valuation.
