Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry is the Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT). He joined the Civil Services of Pakistan in 1992. Over 25 years, he has held prominent roles including Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad and Mianwali, and CEO of Saaf Paani Company. A pivotal accomplishment was as the founding MD of Lahore Waste Management Company, revolutionising waste management in the city. Before his current role, he served as Secretary of Planning & Development in Punjab. At MOFEPT, he has been instrumental in launching vital educational initiatives, managing a World Bank Federal Loan addressing Covid-19's impact on education, and leading the National Education Development Partners Group in Pakistan.
