Senior VP & International GM, Franklin Covey Education
William McIntyre is the Senior Vice President and International General Manager of Franklin Covey Education. In his current role he is responsible for Franklin Covey Education’s business, partners and initiatives outside the United States. Over the past 12 years, McIntyre has led the expansion of Franklin Covey’s international network of partners, and the growth of Leader in Me Schools from their humble beginnings to over 3200 schools outside the United States. He is passionate about empowering and inspiring educators, governments, and families around the globe to see the purposes and practices of their educational systems in new ways, enabling them to transform education in their own countries based on correct paradigms and powerful principles of effectiveness and leadership. Over the past several years, he has delivered workshops, keynote speeches and training focused on transforming education through Principle-Centered Leadership and the Leader in Me process in over 25 countries around the world. Prior to joining Franklin Covey, McIntyre worked as a consultant specialising in intercultural communications and effectiveness, and consulted and conducted training workshops privately, and in partnership with Franklin Covey, in the United States, Asia and South America. He has also held several executive positions and had extensive experience working in the publishing and advertising industries both in the United States and Asia. He is an experienced and engaging presenter and trainer of several Franklin Covey programs. He holds an undergraduate degree in Japanese and Asian Studies and a Master’s degree in Organisational Management.
