Faizan Siddiqui is heading marketing and digital for the vegetable seeds business at Syngenta Pakistan. He has over 13 years of work experience including a decade in the Agriculture sector. At Sygenta , he works towards the well-being of small holder farmers, considering issues related to food security and global warming. His primary focus is digital inclusion of farmers and the entire value chain, including new product introductions. Syngenta is the only vegetable seeds organisation with direct presence in Pakistan and Siddiqui has been instrumental in launching it, with a 360-degree strategy involving farmers , channel partners, middlemen, and his own team. This strategy was the first ever from Pakistan to feature at the International Seed Federation. Siddiqui also represents Syngenta Vegetable Seeds in Asia Pacific Digital governance body and has recently won an award for End-To-End Digitalization Asia for Syngenta. He was actively involved in the launch of Fatima Fertilizer’s brand, Sarsabz, which became a major force in the fertilizer industry. He has held positions in product management, brand management, and channel management. Siddiqui completed his Master’s in Business from Australia and Bachelor’s in International Business from the UK.
